Frederic Goudy pioneered the notion of today’s digital typeface foundry. Along with his wife Bertha he designed some of the most enduring typeface designs, manufactured them and promoted them with beautifully printed specimens.
My collection of Goudy revivals are an homage to this master craftsman’s contribution to typography.
Digital versions of Goudy’s typefaces produced by Steve Matteson.
