Highmore
Highmore is a typeface inspired by 1930s lettering used during the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair. The Westinghouse Corporation’s booth dedicated to electrified railroad transport included hand lettering produced by an unknown artist. The narrow flat brush is evident in the slight contrast and lively stroke endings of the lowercase a, e, g and r. The typeface evokes the timelessness of brush lettering in commercial art. Ideal for friendly poster work, invitations and packaging.
